Hola mi nombre es Rosa y soy de Venezuela.

I grew up in Caracas, the capital city of Venezuela. Caracas borders the Caribbean Sea. Can you tell I love the beach?

I came to the United States as part of an exchange program almost 7 years ago.

Learning another language has been a journey for me. It has taken perseverence, patience, and tons of work to become fluent in English.

Now that I know how hard it is to learn a second language, I would like to share my knowledge with others.I have found my  true passion which is to become a Spanish teacher.

I believe that all students bring knowledge to the classroom. It is my responsibility as a teacher to embrace this knowledge to make learning meaningful to my students. I  also believe that learning should and can be fun at any grade level. Every lesson is an opportunity for me to help students love learning Spanish while having fun. My goal is to be a facilitor in the construction of knowledge. Through games, songs, interactive stories, and other online tools students will help each other build their understandings of language and culture.
